IKorgen Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 August 2026
IKorgen ("the app") helps households create and share shopping lists. This policy explains what data we store and why, for the IKorgen mobile apps and the IKorgen service.
Data we store
Account details such as your email address, username, display name, optional profile photo, language and theme preference, your shopping lists, items, list shares, activity history, and notifications. We store this so the app can work across your devices and shared lists.
How we use it
We use this information to authenticate you, sync your data between devices, send email verification and password-reset codes, and deliver push notifications when you have enabled them. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Services we rely on
Emails (verification codes, password resets) are delivered through Brevo. Push notifications are delivered through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service. If you sign in with Google or Apple, those providers confirm your identity to us. Our servers are hosted in the European Union.
Your choices and rights
You can update your profile and settings in the app at any time. You can delete your account and all of its data directly in the app (Settings → Delete account); deletion is permanent and removes lists you own for everyone they are shared with. If you cannot log in, contact us and we will help you access or delete your account. You may also request a copy of your data.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems.
